Quotes & Booking
What to expect before a job is even locked in.
How do I get a quote?
Call us on 0402 478 798 or email sales@edgelinemarking.com.au with your site address and what you need done, and we’ll get a quote back to you fast.
What do you need from me to put a quote together?
A rough idea of the site (address, size, surface type) and what you’re after — line marking, safety equipment, or both. Photos help but aren’t essential.
How quickly can you fit us in?
It depends on scope and location, but we keep our scheduling tight and can often turn a straightforward job around within the week.
Line Marking
Surfaces, materials and how long the finished job holds up.
What surfaces can you mark?
Asphalt, concrete, pavers and most sealed surfaces — car parks, roads, warehouse floors, sports courts and more.
What paint or material do you use?
We use line marking paint and thermoplastic depending on the surface and traffic level, always aiming for a finish that holds up to real-world use.
How long does line marking take to dry?
Paint is typically trafficable within an hour or two in good weather; we’ll confirm timing on the day based on conditions.
How long does line marking last?
It depends on paint type, traffic volume and weather exposure, but well-applied marking on a properly prepared surface holds up for years, not months.
Do you remove old line marking before remarking?
Yes, where needed — we offer line marking removal and re-marking as a standalone service or as part of a refresh.
Safety Equipment
Supply, install and compliance for bollards, signage and more.
Do you supply the equipment, or just install it?
Both — we can supply and install as a package, or install equipment you’ve already purchased.
Is it compliant with Australian Standards?
Yes, our signage, barriers and traffic equipment are supplied and installed to meet the relevant Australian Standards for your site.
Can equipment be custom made?
Yes — bollards, guards and signage can be sized, coloured or branded to suit your site.
What kind of safety equipment do you install?
Bollards, wheel stops, signage, speed humps, guardrail, mirrors and more — see our full Safety Equipment page for the range.
Service Areas & Travel
Where we work, and how far we’ll go for the right job.
What areas do you service?
We’re based in Newcastle and work across the Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney and NSW-wide. See our Service Areas page for the detail.
Do you charge extra for travel outside Newcastle?
Travel is folded into most quotes across the Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney. For sites further out, we’ll flag any travel component upfront before you book anything in.
How far will you travel for a job?
If it’s in NSW, get in touch. We’ve sent crews as far as the Snowy Mountains and the New England region for the right job.
Scheduling & Site Access
Timing, access and keeping disruption to a minimum.
Can you work after hours or on weekends?
Yes — after-hours and weekend scheduling is available everywhere we work, not just locally.
Do I need to close off the work area?
For most jobs, yes — we’ll let you know what access and closures we need ahead of time so there’s no surprise on the day.
How much notice do you need to book a job?
The earlier the better, but we understand things come up — get in touch and we’ll see what we can do around your timeline.
Will the job disrupt my business while it’s happening?
We plan around your operating hours where we can, including after-hours and weekend work, to keep disruption to a minimum.
Payment & Admin
Invoicing, insurance and the paperwork side of things.
How do I pay?
We’ll confirm payment details and terms with your quote — get in touch if you have a specific requirement, like an EOFY invoice or PO number.
Do you provide invoices for business use?
Yes, every job comes with a proper invoice for your records.
Are you insured?
Yes — ask us for our current insurance details when you book, happy to provide them.
